Last Hero in China by Jet Li -
Jet Li reprises his role as Martial Arts Master Wong Fei Hung in this unofficial sequel (and parody) to the Once Upon A Time In China series. In this film, Wong needs a bigger school for his students. At first, good fortune seems to come his way when he finds a larger building for a lower price. However, this rapidly changes when he finds out that his next door neighbor is actually a brothel. Besides this, Wong has to deal with a group of perverted monks who are kidnapping girls to sell into slavery. They're in cahoots with the new chief of police (so to speak), a maniacal loon who is really fronting for the boxer rebellion. On top of all of that, foreigners are selling bogus medicine that causes hearing loss to Chinese children, and a father and daughter kung fu team are searching for their lost daughter/sister.
Heroes Among Heroes by Donnie Yen -
Officer Lam Che Chu and legendary Kung Fu physician Wong Fei Hung have joined forces to serve on the front lines against the opium smugglers. Naive So Chen (Donnie Yen) picks fights with shady characters from the Fire Lotus Gang, while stealing food for the poor. Meanwhile, a lovely school teacher (Fennie Yuen) is reviled by suspicious parents who think she's operating a whorehouse and pursued by the powers behind the drug traffickers because she knows too much. It will take a combined effort from all three heroes to stop the drug smuggling once and for all.
Instant Kung Fu Man by Hwang Jang Lee -
A mischievous Shaolin disciple, Hsia Hu, uses trickery to graduate from the rigorous monastery without completing his martial training. His mentors, well aware, send the monk Hui Kang to keep an eye on him. Once outside, Hsia Hu soon discovers that people, mistaking him as his twin brother Hsiao Fu, a hardened criminal and Kung-Fu expert, treat him with both fear and respect. He, being too lazy to learn Kung-Fu, begins to relish his Instant Kung Fu Man image and impersonates his brother at every chance. Amusing events take a sinister turn, however, when Yi Lan, Hsia Hu's former accomplice and now sworn enemy, returns to settle a score with Hsia Hu. A duel between Hsia Hu and yi Lan becomes inevitable, at which point, Hsia Hu must decide whether he can afford his new identity or not. His decision leads to an entertaining and unexpectable outcome.
